About

A workshop, not a portal

CalcFlow is a small, deliberately plain collection of calculators. Everything runs in your browser the moment you press Calculate.

What we are trying to do

Most utility sites treat a calculation as bait. You arrive, you scroll past three banners, you dismiss a newsletter prompt, and eventually you find the field you needed. We wanted the opposite: the input, the answer, and a short explanation of why that answer is right.

How the numbers are produced

Each tool uses a published, named formula — the standard amortisation equation for loans, Mifflin-St Jeor for resting energy, the US Navy circumference method for body fat, exact defined unit factors for conversions. Where a recognised method does not exist, we say so plainly rather than inventing authority.

Calculations happen entirely on your device. Nothing you type is stored, transmitted or tied to you in any way. That also means we cannot recover a result you have closed.

What we will never do

  • Ask you to create an account to see a result.
  • Place advertising inside a form, or over a result.
  • Use pop-ups, autoplay media or countdowns.
  • Present estimates as professional financial or medical advice.

Advertising

The site is supported by clearly labelled advertising spaces, kept in fixed positions away from anything you are typing into. No network is connected at present; the spaces are reserved so the layout does not shift when one is.

Corrections

If a result looks wrong, we want to know. Send the calculator name, the inputs you used and what you expected — that is usually enough to trace it.
